Arrrrrr mateys! The Scottish Maritime Museum will be hosting a pirate themed weekend as part of Festival of Museums.

Families can see the museum taken over by pirate related activities, including face painting, a pirate themed trail, pirate origami and even an inflatable pirate ship! Visit in full pirate costume and staff will put a piratical twist on the usual talks and tour provided throughout the day.

Most activities will be included in the normal admission to the museum (3 children enter free with every adult), with small costs attached to the face painting and craft activities.
