Beasts at the Burrell

Inspired by the wonderful setting ofPollokCountryParkand the tranquil surroundings of the Burrell Collection, we bring the animals in the collection to life. Visitors will find horses, birds and even a dragon amongst an array of wild animals. Enjoy falconry demonstrations, a mini petting zoo with a 4ft iguana and Chinese Water Dragon, Clydesdale horse dray rides, Highland cows, animal themed arts, crafts & games, animal themed wacky museum tours and animal themed stories.

Venue

The Burrell Collection is a unique building in the heart of Pollok Country park. It houses the collection of the shipping magnate Sir William Burrell. There are over 8000 items in the collection including work by major artists such as Rodin, Degas and Cezanne, to important examples of medieval art, Chinese and Islamic art and Ancient Civilizations.
