What's next?

The Festival may be over for another year but you’ll find a rewarding day out at museums and galleries across Scotland at any time of year. As well as a wealth of fascinating exhibitions showcasing art, ancient history, military artifacts, medical ephemera, fashion and culture, did you know you can also book a workshop in rag-rugging, ride in a bronze age dug-out canoe or pan for gold? A brilliant start is to search for a museum in your area through the Museums Galleries Scotland website (the wheels behind the Festival of Museums machine). Take a look now!
